Nuclear Fuel Complex (NFC), Hyderabad, is an industrial establishment under the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE).
NFC notified recruitment of Technical Officer - D and Technical Officer – C. Interested candidates can send their application to the Assistant Personnel Officer, Hyderabad. Selected candidates will be posted at Nuclear Fuel Complex, Hyderabad or in Zirconium Complex, Pazhayakayal, Tuticorin District, Tamilnadu or NFC, Kota or to any constituent units of the Department of Atomic Energy in India.

Age Limit (as reckoned on 01 July 2012)
For Technical Officer –D Maximum 40 yrs.
For Technical Officer –C Maximum 35 yrs.
(Relaxation for Ex-servicemen will be provided as per rules/ for Physically Challenged persons (physical disability of 40% and aboveonwards) up to 5 years / up to 5 years to regular Central Government Servants working in posts which are in the same line or allied cadres).
Pay Scale:
Technical Officer C: Pay Band Rs.15600-39100 + Entry Pay Rs.15600 + Grade Pay Rs.5400
Technical Officer D: Pay Band Rs.15600-39100 + Entry Pay Rs.18750 + Grade Pay Rs.6600
In addition to the pay indicated above, the selected candidates will be entitled for other allowances as admissible under Central Government Rules such as House Rent Allowance and Transport Allowance as per rates applicable at the place of posting.
Fee: The non-refundable application fee of Rs.250 has to be paid by crossed Indian Postal Order/Demand Draft Payable at Hyderabad and drawn in favour of “Pay & Accounts Officer, NFC, Hyderabad.”
(Women, disabled Defence Service personnel and dependents of Defence Service personnel killed in action and ex-servicemen and physically challenged persons are exempted from payment of application fee.)
HOW TO APPLY:
The application, in the prescribed format, preferably typewritten, should be send to “The Assistant Personnel Officer, Recruitment-I, NFC, ECIL Post, Hyderabad 500 062” in an envelope super-scribed “Application for the post of ______________ under Post No.____ against Advertisement No.NFC/02/2012,” so as to reach the office on or before the last date.
If a candidate is applying for more than one post, separate application for each post has to be submitted along with application fee of Rs.250.
Selection Procedure: Selection would be done on the basis of performance in the Interview.
All the applications would be screened and only those candidates, who would fit the organizational requirements in the opinion of NFC, will be called for interview.
In case the number of applications received is huge, the screening will be restricted to those with higher percentage of marks and experience. The shortlisted candidates will be called for interview.
Appointment of selected candidates is subject to their medical fitness to be certified by the Medical Board, NFC. Hence, the selected candidates will have to undergo a medical examination by the Medical Board, Nuclear Fuel Complex.

NOTE: Candidates will be required to attend in round-the-clock shift duties.
