AFCAT 2 Exam Day Guidelines 2024:  The AFCAT 2 2024 exam will be conducted on August 9, 10 and 11, 2024, in two shifts, i.e., 9:45 am to 11:45 am and 2:45 pm to 4:45 pm. AFCAT 2 Shift Timings 2024

The Indian Air Force (IAF) has released the AFCAT admit card and shift timing on its official website. Apart from knowing the AFCAT last minute preparation tips, candidates must be familiar with the AFCAT Exam Day Guidelines and shift timings to reach the exam centre on time. The AFCAT 2024 will be conducted in two shifts each day. Check the AFCAT shift timings below.

AFCAT 2024 Exam Day Guidelines

Candidates must be well-acquainted with the AFCAT 2024 exam day guidelines before appearing in the AFCAT 2 2024 Exam. It will help them to maintain decorum and adhere to the AFCAT Exam Day guidelines to avoid any last-minute rush or hassles.

  • They must reach the exam centre at least 60 minutes before the reporting time, as mentioned in the AFCAT admit card 2024.
  • It is compulsory to carry the AFCAT admit card 2024 and valid photo ID proof to the assigned exam centre. They must possess any of the required documents like an Aadhaar Card, PAN Card/ Passport/ Driving Licence/ Voter Identity Card or any other photo ID proof, and two passport-size colour photographs. 
  • Candidates must carry two passport-size colour photographs- the same as the photo uploaded during the online application.
  • They need to have a ballpoint pen (blue or black) for signing on the attendance sheet and rough work. 
  • Candidates will be asked to put only the thumb impression on the AFACT 2 2024 admit card before entering the exam centre. They are required to put signatures on the admit card in front of the invigilator(s).
  • Candidates can leave the exam hall after the AFCAT/EKT is over.
  • Candidates are advised not to carry any valuable/costly items to the exam centre.

Dress Code for AFCAT Exam

  1. Aspirants must wear slippers/sandals with flat heels
  2. Clothes with large buttons are not allowed within exam premises.
  3. Candidates must not wear closed footwear, such as shoes, in the exam centre

Aadhar Card Compulsory for AFCAT Exam

  1. Candidates must have their Aadhaar Card in original (photocopy is not admissible).
  2. Candidates must have a second photo identity card in original form, such as a PAN Card/ Passport/ Driving Licence/ Voter Identity Card or any other valid photo identity proof issued by a government agency, with details of Name, Father’s Name, Date of Birth and a clear Photograph (photocopy is not admissible),
  3. The name of the candidate on the Aadhaar Card and 2nd valid photo Identity Card must be the same as mentioned in his/her Matriculation Certificate (Class X)

Items not permitted inside Examination Hall are as follows:

Bluetooth devices, communication / electronic/digital/wireless devices like Calculators, documents, Electronic Watches with facilities Calculator, and cell phones

Phone, Memory Card/ Stick, Pager, Organiser, Personal Digital Assistant (PDA), concealed Microphone Or Camera, Radio, Headset, Walkman, Recorder, translator, etc.

Textual or stationary material such as Pencil-box/Geometry box, Book, Log tables, Clipboard, and Slide rule (except blue or black transparent ballpoint Pen).

Personal items (Wristwatch/ Wristband, Bracelets, Handbags, Ornaments, Wallet, Purse, Head gear, Scarf, Goggles, Jackets), eatable items (Chips, Chocolates, Food, Drinks etc)

  • They must maintain social distancing in the exam centre.
  • They must ensure that they are vaccinated before appearing in the exam.
