Every year Staff Selection Commission (SSC) holds an open competitive Computer Based Examination (CBE) for Recruitment of GD Constable. This year SSC has announced total 54953 vacancies for Constable (GD) Post in Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), National Investigation Agency (NIA) and Secretariat Security Force (SSF) and Rifleman (General Duty) in Assam Rifles.
As per the latest notification released by SSC, Constables (GD) in CAPFs 2018 Exam will be conducted from 11th February 2019 to 11th March 2019 in online mode (CBE). Those candidates having passed Matriculation or 10th class from a recognized Board or University and are between 18 to 23 years of age are eligible to apply for the SSC GD Constable Recruitment examination.

The recruitment process for SSC GD Constable 2018 Exam will consist of Computer Based Examination (CBE), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST) and Detailed Medical Examination (DME). The Computer based examination will consist of one objective type paper containing 100 questions carrying 100 marks, with the following composition:
