The Bihar Police Constable Exam 2026 will be held on 17 June 2026. A record 16 lakh candidates have applied for just 4210 posts, making it one of Bihar's most competitive exams. Bihar Police Constable Exam 2026: The Central Selection Board of Constables is all set to conduct the Bihar Police Constable Exam 2026 on 17 June 2026 from various centres in Bihar. As many as 16 lakhs (1.6 million) applicants have registered for only 4210 vacancies as constables to jail wardens, thus the candidate-to-seat ratio is very high. To ensure the proper movement of candidates in such huge numbers, the Indian Railways has made arrangements for several special trains along different routes in Bihar. Strict guidelines regarding the entry of smartwatches, mobile phones, and other electronic gadgets inside exam centres have been issued. The application process were started on 6 October 2025 to 5 November 2025, and the admit card was released on 8 June 2026. Now, this exam is starting from 14 June.
Special Trains for Candidates
In view of the large number of 16 Lakh candidates taking part in the examination held on 17th June 2026, a few special trains have been arranged by the Indian Railways for candidates from various routes across Bihar. The special trains will ensure that candidates reach their examination centres without any problems. Special arrangements have been made by the railways to deal with the large number of aspirants.

Bihar Police Constable Exam 2026 has seen an unmatched response, with 16 lakh people applying for just 4210 posts of constables. Candidate Guidelines
It is mandatory for all candidates taking part in the Bihar Police Constable Exam 2026 to bring their admit card along with a valid ID proof to the examination hall. The candidate should reach the examination hall at least one hour prior to the start time of the exam. Without an admit card, no candidate will be allowed entry into the examination hall.
