BPSC Bihar AEDO Exam 2026 Cancelled: The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has cancelled the Assistant Education Development Officer examination (AEDO) exam held between April 14 and April 21, 2026 across the state. The Commission has cancelled the exam due to the allegation after incidents of irregularities and malpractice attempts during the test. The recruitment drive aims to fill 935 vacancies for Assistant Education Development Officer (AEDO) under Advt. No. 87/2025. More than 10.97 lakh applications were received for the much awaited state's biggest recruitment tests launched across the state.

The short notice further says that during the Assistant Education Development Officer competitive exam, local administrations identified individuals and candidates attempting to use Bluetooth and other means for malpractice.

BPSC Bihar AEDO Exam 2026 Consequences for Candidates

According to the notice released, the FIRs were filed and 32 candidates have been barred from participating in future commission examinations for their involvement in conspiracies to disrupt the exam. The Commission has taken the decision to maintain transparency and protect the interests of meritorious candidates appearing in the above exams.

Reason for Cancellation

According to the BPSC, despite no evidence of a leak, the commission has decided to cancel the exams to protect the interests of meritorious candidates and maintain its commitment to transparency and integrity. The Commission has said that it has taken the steps as attempts were made to compromise the sanctity of the exams at certain centers.

Due to allegations of various malpractices and irregularities, the Commission has cancelled others exams also with direct effect. Check the list of all the examinations cancelled-
