Eligibility Criteria for Post Graduate Teacher and Assistant Teacher (Primary Education) Job

Educational Qualification and Age Limit:

• Post Graduate Teacher (PGT): 1) Post Graduate from recognized University in respective subject with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B. Ed) from NCTE (National Council for Teacher Education) recognized institution OR Post Graduate with at Least 50% marks from recognized University in respective subject and B.A. Ed/B.Sc. Ed from any NCTE (National Council for Teacher Education) recognized institution

2) Eligibility condition for medium specific teachers.

• Assistant Teacher High School/TGT: 1) Graduate from recognized University in respective subject with at least 50% marks and Bachelor or Education (B. Ed) from NCTE (National Council for Teacher Education) recognized institution OR 04 years degree or B.A. Ed /B.Sc. Ed from any NCTE (National Council for Teacher Education) recognized institution

2) Eligibility condition for medium specific teachers.

• Assistant Teacher Primary: Senior Secondary (Class XII pass) with at least 50% marks and 02 years Diploma in Elementary Education OR Senior Secondary (Class XII pass) with at least 45% marks and 02 years Diploma in Elementary Education in accordance with the NCTE Regulations 2002 or Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor or Education (B. Ed.).
• Age Limit: Not exceeding 30 years.
