Sardar Bhagwan Singh University Dehradun to Host Global Conference on Biosciences, Healthcare, and Sustainability

Dehradun is all set to emerge as a platform for global scientific dialogue in March 2026, as Sardar Bhagwan Singh University (SBSU) gears up to host an International Conclave on ‘Biosciences Beyond Boundaries: Healthcare, Bioeconomy and Sustainable Well-being.’

The conclave will commence on 13-14 March 2026 in hybrid mode at the campus of the CSIR-Indian Institute of Petroleum (IIP), Dehradun. It will bring together academicians, scholars, and industry professionals from India and across the world.

The global conclave is organised in association with UCB, IESR, and LSSSDC, reflecting SBSU’s growing engagement with interdisciplinary research and its commitment to addressing real-world challenges through science, technology, and innovation. The venue of the conclave is one of the country's premier national research laboratories, which aims at strengthening collaboration between academic and research institutions.

Science Beyond Silos

The main objective of this conference is to analyse the potential integration of biosciences with artificial intelligence, data science, nanotechnology, and management studies. This would help in shaping future research in different sectors, including healthcare, agriculture, and sustainable development.

The theme of this conference, Biosciences Beyond Boundaries, indicates the need for shifting away from siloed thinking towards integrated solutions that simplify critical regional and global issues. This shall cover food security, public health, climate resilience, and sustainable economic growth.
