UPSC NDA II Application Form 2025: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts the NDA & NA exam twice in a year. The first recruitment cycle was done in the month of April. And now the drive for the second recruitment cycle has started. The UPSC has released the notification on its official website- upsc.gov.in. Candidates can visit the website and check the notification. Also, the UPSC has revised the application process. The UPSC has launched a new Online Application Portal for all the recruitments that are going to be conducted by UPSC. This portal was launched on 28 May, 2025. Now the students have to register themselves on the portal instead of the OTR module. All the candidates who wish to apply for the NDA II exam must register themselves on the new portal- upsconline.nic.in. The registration process includes four parts- Account Creation, Universal Registration, Application Form and Examination.
The selection process of NDA exam includes a Written exam and SSB Interview. The exam is conducted in offline mode. The NDA written exam consists of two papers- General Ability Test (GAT) and Mathematics. Each paper is of 2.5 hours duration. The GAT consists of 150 questions and Mathematics paper has 120 questions. The total marks for the written exam is 900 which consists of 600 marks of GAT and 300 marks of Mathematics.

How to Apply for the UPSC NDA Exam 2025?
Candidates who wish to apply for the NDA exam have to register themselves on the new application portal launched by the UPSC on May 28, 2025. The portal consists of four parts and the candidates are required to register for each part separately. Before beginning to register, candidates must have a valid e-mail ID and phone number which must be kept by the candidate until the results are declared. The candidates must also read the instructions for every part carefully.
Steps to fill the application form:

- You will see four columns mentioning the four parts-
- Create Account and Login
- Universal Registration
- Common Application Form (CAF)
- Candidates must register themselves step-by-step for each part.
- Firstly, create an account by verifying your email address and mobile number. Then generate a strong password. After that your account has been created. Now login to your account.
- Then next you will see the “Universal Registration” option. Read the instructions before proceeding further. Then click on “Proceed for Universal Registration”.
- Now generate the URN Number.
- Then click on the “Common Application Form” and read the instructions carefully. This module requires you to fill various details like:
- Personal Profile
- Parents Profile
- Social Category Profile
- Disability Profile
- Address
- Educational Profile
- Employment Experience
- Achievements
- Previous UPSC Examination Profile
- Upload passport size photograph and signatures
- Then after filling all these details, you have to go to the “Examination” part, where in the drop down menu, you will select the “Apply for Examination” link.
- After clicking on the “Apply” button, candidates need to lock their CAF. The application form will only be locked when the candidate has filled all the modules provided in the form.
- Once you have locked the CAF, the portal will automatically take you to fill the NDA application form.
