Delhi School News Pollution: Delhi's air pollution has started increasing. Considering this, the state government may announce early winter vacations in Delhi. If this happens, it will be the second time that authorities will be announcing holidays for educational institutions. In November, schools in Delhi NCR remained shut for over 10 days due to poor AQI.
Originally, winter vacations in Delhi schools are scheduled to be held between January 1 and 6, 2024. However, if Delhi's AQI falls again or the temperature drops, authorities can announce holidays in schools/colleges considering the safety of students. Normally, every year the Delhi government extends the winter holidays due to the biting cold.

Delhi School News Pollution
Previously, the state government announced holidays due to severe pollution in Delhi NCR. Schools in Delhi remained closed for over 10 days. Due to these holidays, the authorities decided to curtail Delhi winter vacations 2023 from 15 to 6 days only.
Winter Vacations in Delhi Schools 2023
With the advent of December, the biting cold has also arrived. The state government announces the Delhi winter break every year to protect students from harsh winter weather. This year, the Directorate of Education has announced the Delhi winter holidays from January 1 to 6, 2024. Students have to return to the schools from January 8, 2024 (Monday).
