NEET PG 2026: Indian Medical Students’ Body Writes To Union Minister For Urgent Release Of Answer Key, Response Sheets
NEET PG Answer Key: The All India Medical Students Association (AIMSA) and the Indian Medical Association Medical Student Network (IMA MSN) Madhya Pradesh have written to Union Health Minister JP Nadda seeking the early release of the NEET PG 2026 question paper, official answer key and individual response sheets.
NEET PG 2026 Answer Key, Response Sheet: The All India Medical Students Association (AIMSA) has written to Union Health Minister JP Nadda seeking the urgent release of the NEET PG 2026 question paper, official answer key and individual response sheets. The association said candidates have raised concerns regarding their marks and the examination evaluation process. The NEET PG answer key and response sheet is scheduled to be released on/after October 1, 2026. Scorecards will also be available from October 1.
In a letter dated September 26, 2026, AIMSA said that “a considerable number of candidates have approached AIMSA expressing concerns regarding the marks obtained in their results and seeking clarity on the evaluation process.” It requested that the official answer key and recorded responses be released at the earliest to enable candidates to independently verify their performance.
The association has specifically sought the availability of three documents: the official NEET PG 2026 question paper, the official answer key for all questions, and the individual response sheet/recorded responses of each candidate who appeared for the examination.
NEET PG: Answer Key May Allow Students To Report Genuine Discrepancies
According to AIMSA, making these documents available would allow candidates to review their responses and understand the basis of their scores. The letter said this would also enable candidates to calculate their expected marks and report any genuine discrepancies to the competent authority.
AIMSA further stated that NEET PG is a “highly consequential examination that determines postgraduate opportunities for thousands of medical graduates across the country.” It said transparency and clarity in the examination and evaluation process are important for maintaining candidates’ confidence.
The association requested the Union Health Minister’s “urgent intervention and appropriate directions to the concerned authorities” for the early release of the documents.
IMA Medical Student Network Madhya Pradesh also writes to JP Nadda
Separately, the Indian Medical Association Medical Student Network (IMA MSN) Madhya Pradesh has also written to Union Health Minister JP Nadda on the issue.
In its letter dated September 25, 2026, IMA MSN MP raised concerns about “discrepancies and inconsistencies perceived in the examination results.” The organisation said transparency in the examination and evaluation process is important for maintaining candidates’ confidence.
The IMA MSN MP letter also requested the release of the official NEET PG 2026 question paper, official answer key for all questions and individual response sheets/recorded responses of every candidate.
It said that providing these documents would allow candidates to “independently verify their responses, calculate their expected score and identify any genuine discrepancy in the evaluation process.”
The letter was signed by Dr Prince Jain, State President, IMA MSN MP, and Dr Aaryan Shivhare, State General Secretary, IMA MSN MP. AIMSA’s letter was signed by its National President Dr Jitendra Singh, National Vice President Dr Syed Faizan Ahmad, National Convenor AIMSA FMSW Dr Apurva Dalvi and State President J&K Dr Mohammad Momin Khan.
