UP 10 and 12 Board Exams 2021: As per the latest update, UP Chief Minister said in a meeting that no merit list will be declared this year for class 10th and 12th students. The UP Board exam for class 10th and 12th was cancelled due to COVID-19.
UP Board Exams 2021: As per the latest media updates, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has announced that this year, no merit list will be released for the UP class 10th and 12th board exams. It has also been decided that if the students are not satisfied with the marks, they will be given the option to appear in class 10 and 12 exams once the situation is under control. An official of the secondary education department said, "We are giving an option to students that if they are not satisfied with the marks for the cancelled exam, the board will allow them to appear in the said exam next year when high school and intermediate examinations will be held."
For this academic session, the exams have been cancelled because of the COVID-19 pandemic. After the cancellation of the UP class 10 and 12 board exams 2021, it was announced that this year, the students will be promoted based on pre-board marks and marks attained by students in the exams of previous years.
UP Board Exams 2021 Evaluation Criteria Updates
A committee has been formed under the additional chief secretary, secondary education, Aradhana Shukla, to discuss the evaluation criteria for 40 subjects of class 10 and 106 papers of class 12. As per the report, the discussion regarding the evaluation criteria for UP Board Exam 2021 is in its final phase. The committee is likely to submit its detailed report to the Uttar Pradesh Government soon. The final decision regarding the evaluation criteria for UP Board Exam 2021 will be taken at the higher level.
Suggestions from Parents and Students
About 4,000 suggestions have been received from parents, teachers, educationists and the general public regarding the determination of marks. Many constructive suggestions are also from students. Some of the suggestions are constructive and have been considered for preparing the evaluation criteria of UP Board Exam 2021. Approximately 56 lakh students have registered for UP Board class 10 and 12 exams 2021.
