The disease stopped the dog from growing teeth. This makes the dog's tongue dangle. Additionally, the Wild Thang also has a muscular imbalance in one of his legs.

The bio of Wild Thang perfectly described his condition, saying that the dog survived the condition, but with permanent damage. The right foot of the dog paddles at all times. Additionally, his teeth could not grow in. This made his tongue to dangle.

The bio further expresses that even with these physical concerns, the dog is a "healthy, happy Glugly, guy." The term Glugly here refers to glamorous yet ugly.

Ann Lewis is the owner of the dog. Wild Thang and his owner are going to be awarded $5,000 for winning the contest.
