• Go to the official DTE, Assam website, dte.assam.gov.in and click “Admission into State Government Polytechnics for the session 2025-26”.
• A new page with links for registration and form filling will open.
• Now, hit the New Registration line and read carefully all the instructions.
• Enter the applicant's full name in capital letters and then submit details like email ID, phone number, password and mobile number and captcha for registration.
• Now, click on registration to receive an OTP on your email and/or mobile.
• Enter the OTP and the captcha to complete the Assam PAT registration process. 
• Once registered successfully, a registration number will be allotted. Note the registration number for future reference.

How to Fill the Assam PAT Application Form 2025?

Once you register successfully for Assam PAT 2025 online, you will have to log in with your valid credentials and complete the application process within the deadline. Here are simple steps to fill out the Assam PAT application form without any hassles:

• Log in with your registered email ID and the password created in the registration process.
• A new page will appear on your screen.
• Now, select the Profile at the top of the page and fill in the profile with valid and correct details. Submit correct details about your caste category and family income details to get the benefits of the respective caste/category.
• If you choose “OBC/MOBC-NCL”, then you have to upload the NCL certificate /undertaking.
• Enter the address and click on “Save and Next”
• After preview, select the “Proceed to Next” button
• Fill out all the required details and upload all the relevant documents and/or Undertakings in the prescribed format.
• Hit the final preview button to verify all the submitted details.
• Select the “Submit and Lock” button and then confirm and lock.
• The profile details will be updated successfully.
• After locking the profile details, the Choice Filling window will appear.
• You need to select Programme Level as “Diploma Programmes” and Programme to be selected as “3 years Diploma in Engineering and Technology in Polytechnic”.
• After selecting the preferences, click the “proceed” button and verify the submitted preferences in the preview. You can also edit your preferences through the update button at the bottom. If the provided details are correct, then click “next “and move to the academic details.
• Fill out your academic details correctly in the online form and click on final preview to verify your details. 
• Next, click on the “Submit” button.
• Tick the boxes in the verify section and select Payment Gateway SBI Epay to pay the application fees.
• Upon successful completion of the payment process, the application will be redirected to the dashboard, and the online form will be submitted. You can check the status of your applications on your dashboard.
• Lastly, take a printout of the Assam PAT application form through the “Print Application” button for future reference.
