Candidates shortlisted in Tier-I for appearing in Tier-II [Paper-I and Paper-II (Statistics)] for the post of Junior Statistical Officer:

The candidates can check the cutoff marks for the post of ASO,Inspector, EA, JSO, Auditor, Accountant, PA etc below:

Finally, the Staff Selection Commission has announced the result of the Tier 1 Exam conducted from 09 September to 26 September in the online mode. Based on marks scored in Tier 1 , candidates have been shortlisted, category-wise, to appear in Tier 2 examination. 

Based on the marks scored in Tier-I i.e. Computer Based Examination,
candidates will be shortlisted, category-wise, to appear in Tier-II Examination. Separate cut-offs will be fixed for the post of Junior Statistical Officer for appearing in Paper-I & Paper-II of Tier-II, for the post of Statistical Investigator Grade-II for appearing in Paper-I & Paper-II of Tier-II and for all other posts for appearing in Paper-I of Tier-II

The exam was conducted in multiple shifts for which the result will declared using the normalised formula published by the Commission vide Notice No: 1-1/2018-P&P-I dated 07-02-2019 and such normalized scores will be used to determine final merit and cut-off marks.

Yes, ther will be a negative marking of 0.50 for each wrong answer. So, students should keep in mind that their result will be announced on he basis of negative marking.

The result will be available in the PDF in the form of a selection list. The list will contain the following information:

• Exam Name
• Name of the Post
• Full name of the shortlisted applicants
• Roll number of qualified candidates
• Category in Numerical Data wherein 0=EWS, 1=SC, 2=ST, 3=ESM, 4=OH, 5=HH, 6=OBC, 7=VH, 8=PWD-Other, 9=UR

Candidates who clear the SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam will be called for the Tier 2 Exam. Such candidates can attend the SSC CGL Tier 2 Exam on 18 January, 19 January and 20 January 2024 across the country.

The cutoff marks for posts other than JSO are given below:

• General: 148-152 marks
• EWS: 141-145 marks
• OBC :144-148 marks
• SC: 125-129 marks
• ST: 116-120 marks
