CBSE 10th Result 2021 Term 1 Exam: On Saturday Morning, CBSE declared the CBSE Class 10 Result for Term 1 Examination in offline mode surprising students and teachers as well. For the Term 1 Exam, the CBSE 10th Class Results have been in the form of combined scores being made available to the school principals via email. This means that the CBSE 10th Term 1 Result is not available to the students directly as individual scorecards or mark sheets via the official website – cbse.gov.in or cbseresults.nic.in.
Term 1 Results Not to Carry 50% Weightage
Following the declaration of the CBSE Term 1 Results for Class 10 students, the Board also notified an important notice which provided details about how the Term 1 Exam Marks would be considered in the tabulation of the final result. Contrary to what was announced earlier, according to the recent notice, CBSE Term 1 Result marks will not carry 50% weightage in the preparation of the final result, which will be declared after the Term 2 Exam. The notice also clarified that the final weightage of marks scored in the Term 1 and Term 2 board exams will be decided by the board only after Term 2 Exams are held.

50% Weightage Formula To Address Difficulty Level Question
Providing justification for changing its stand from 50% weightage to the Term 1 Exam marks, the Board said that the formula will be finalized after Term 2 exams to address the question of difficulty level between two sets of question papers. The notice reads “To address the difficulty level between the two sets of Question Papers in Term-I examinations, needful action will be taken at the time of preparation of the final result. The weightage of Term-I and Term-II will be decided at the time of declaration of Term-II result and accordingly, final performance will be calculated.”
