Indian Institute of Mass Communication has released the application form for the postgraduate diploma programmes offered by the institute. Candidates who wish to apply can visit the official website of IIMC and apply. The institute had earlier released a notification regarding the examination dates along with the prospectus.
The last date to submit the online application form along with the application fee is May 12, 2019. The application fee has to be submitted along with the application form itself. To apply for IIMC candidates can follow the steps given below
Steps to apply
Step 1: Visit the official website iimc.nic.in
Step 2: Click on the course you wish to apply for
Step 3: Click on the online application link under PG Diploma Section
Step 4: Click on ‘New Registration’ to complete the registration process
Step 5: Use the ‘Unique Registration Number’ and date of birth to login and fill the application form
Step 6: Complete the application payment process
Step 7: take a print out of the filled application form for further reference
Application fee
The application fee has to be submitted online through the different payment options available. The application fee can be paid by either credit/debit card or net banking facilities. Candidates belonging to the general category must submit an application fee of Rs. 1500/- while the SC/ST OBC and EWS category candidates must submit an application fee of Rs. 1000/-
About IIMC
Indian Institute of Mass Communication offers Diploma and Postgraduate Diploma courses in journalism, the different programmes offered include English, Hindi, Urdu, Malayalam, Marathi, Odiya journalism along with Radio and TV journalism and Advertising and PR programmes. The examination for Malayalam, Marathi, Odiya, and Urdu Journalism will be held on May 25, 2019, from 9.00 AM to 11.00 AM. The English and Hindi Journalism exam along with Radio and TV journalism and Advertising and PR examination will be held on May 26, 2019, in different shifts. Candidates appearing for the different entrance exams must check the shift timings which will be available on the admit card.
