Department of Defence Production invited applications for the post of Lower Division Clerk and other posts. The eligible candidates can apply to the post through the prescribed format within 21 days (14 April 2017) of publication of the advertisement in Employment Newspaper.
Lower Division Clerk needs to be 12th class or equivalent qualification from any recognized board or university. Should have English Typing @ 35 words per minute; or Hindi Typing @ 30 words per minute (Time allowed – 10 minutes) (35 words per minute in English and 30 words per minute in Hindi correspond to 10,500 key depression per hours/9000 key depressions per hour on an average of 5 key depressions for each word.
Multi Tasking Staff (Security) should be Matriculation (10th class pass) from a recognized board.
Technician (Semi-skilled)should have Industrial Training Institute Pass certificate in the specified trades viz. Instrument Mechanic, Fitter, Electrician, Draftsman Mechanical, Cutting and Sewing, Textile Designing, Dress Designing, Refrigeration and Air Conditioner Mechanic, Motor Vehicle Mechanic, Carpenter, etc. or its equivalent Defence Service Tradesman Course approved as such by the Central or State Governments.
Eligible candidates can apply to the post through the prescribed format and send the applications along with other necessary documents to ‘The SQAO, Senior Quality Assurance Estt (GS), DGQA Complex, Pazhavanthangal – PO, Chennai - 600114’ within 21 days of publication of the advertisement in Employment Newspaper.
