Eligibility Criteria for Senior Research Fellow & Other Posts
Educational Qualification
- Senior Research Fellow: Candidates should possess First class in M.Sc. (Horticulture or Agriculture specialization in Plant Breeding and Genetics) or M.Sc. (Botany / Life Sciences) with NET qualification and 2 years of Research Experience or Ph.D. (Botany or any Life Sciences).
- Ph.D. scholar: First class in M.Sc. (Horticulture / Plant Breeding / Biotechnology) or M.Sc. (Life Sciences / Botany / Biotechnology).
- Technical Assistant: First class in M.Sc. (Horticulture / Agriculture specialization in Plant Breeding and Genetics / Botany) or M.Sc. (Biotechnology).
Age Limit
- Men: Upper age limit for the post is 35 years.
- Women: Upper age limit for the post is 40 years.
