Eligibility Criteria:

  • Assistant Director -
  1. A Degree of a recognized University in any branch of Engineering or Technology. OR;
  2. A Post Graduate Degree of a recognized University in Business Administration
  • Agricultural Officer - A minimum of second class Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture/Horticulture from any of the recognized Universities or its equivalent.
  • Inspector –
  1. Graduation from a recognised University in Science (with Physics as one of the subjects), Technology or Engineering (Mechanical / Electronics / Electronics and Communication / Applied Electronics / Instrumentation Technology) or a diploma (Mechanical / Electronics / Electronics and Communication / Applied Electronics / Instrumentation Technology) from a recognized university / Board of Technical Examination awarded after undergoing a regular course of study for not less than three years and;
  2. Ability to speak, read and write in the regional language of the State
  • First Grade Overseer/ First Grade Draftsman (Civil)-
  1. Diploma in Civil Engineering of the Kerala University or Diploma recognized by Government as equivalent thereto.
  2. Minimum 2 years service as II Grade Draftsman/Overseer, III Grade Overseer/Tracer, Clerks, Typists, Typist-clerks or Confidential Assistants in the concerned Department
  • Public Relations Officer-
  1. A Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Public Relations/Journalism from a recognized University with not less than 50% marks. OR;
  2. A Masters Degree in English/Malayalam Literature from a recognized University with not less than 50% marks and Post Graduate Diploma in Public Relations/Journalism from a recognized University/Institute.
  • Agricultural Officer- a Bachelors Degree in Agriculture or Horticulture of a recognized University.
  • Pharmacist Gr-II-
  1. Pre-Degree/Plus Two/VHSE.
  2. Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm).
  3. Registration with the Kerala State Pharmacy Council
  • Police Constable (Armed Police Battalion)- S.S.L.C failed candidates belonging to SC/ST community for consideration only in the absence of candidates with the basic qualification S.S.LC
  • Ayurveda Therapist-
  1. Pass in SSLC or equivalent qualification.
  2. Pass in Ayurveda Therapist Course conducted by Government of Kerala
  • Lecturer in Physical Education-
  1. Masters Degree in the concerned subject with not less than 55% marks or its equivalent and good academic record.
  2. Must have passed a Comprehensive Test in the concerned subject specifically conducted for the purpose by UGC or any agency duly constituted by the state government in this behalf. When qualifications are being equal, preference shall be given to those candidates who possess adequate knowledge in Malayalam.
  • Medical Officer (Netra)-
  1. MD (Ayurveda)Netra/Salakya awarded by a recognized University
  2. ‘A’ class registration in the Travancore – Cochin Medical Council
  • Divisional Accountant-
  1. Graduation   plus   a   pass   in   the   Intermediate   Examination conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or a pass in the Intermediate Examinations conducted by the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India OR;
  2. A   Pass   in   B.Com   in   First   Class   with   not   less   than   3   years experience in Government undertakings in Finance and Accounts Department. OR;
  3. Graduation plus a pass in the SAS (Commercial) Examination conducted by Indian Audit and Accounts Department. 
  • Higher Secondary School Teacher–Statistics- Master’s Degree in the concerned subject with not less than 50% marks from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto in the respective subject by a University in Kerala.
  • Higher Secondary School Teacher (Junior) English- Master's Degree in the concerned subject with not less than 50% marks from any of the Universities in Kerala or qualification recognized as equivalent thereto in the respective subject by a University in Kerala
  • Higher Secondary School Teacher (Junior) Statistics- Master's Degree in the concerned subject with not less than 50% marks from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto in the respective subject by any University in Kerala
  • Draftsman (Architectural) Grade I-
  1. Diploma in Engineering of the Kerala University or any other Diploma considered as equivalent thereto by the Government of Kerala. OR;
  2. Licentiate in Civil Engineering from the Polytechnics at Kozhikode, Thrissur, Kalamassery or any other qualification recognized as equivalent thereto by the Government of Kerala
  • Fireman Driver-cum-Pump-Operator (Trainee)-
  1. Must have passed SSLC or equivalent examination
  2. Must possess valid current Motor Driving Licence with endorsement for driving heavy goods vehicle or heavy passenger vehicle.
  • Fireman Driver-cum-Pump-Operator (Trainee)-
  1. Must have passed SSLC or equivalent examination
  2. Must possess valid current Motor Driving Licence with endorsement for driving heavy goods vehicle or heavy passenger vehicle.
  • Deputy Accounts Manager- Associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India OR Associate Membership of the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India
  • Male Warden- Pass in SSLC or its equivalent qualification
  • Lower Division Clerk-
  1. A pass in S.S.L.C. or any equivalent Examination.
  2. Working Knowledge in both Tamil and Malayalam languages
  • L.D. Typist-
  1. Pass in SSLC or its equivalent. Lower Grade Certificate in Typewriting Malayalam (KGTE).
  2. Lower Grade Certificate in Typewriting English (KGTE) and;
  3. Computer Word Processing or its equivalent (IMC Certificate in Typewriting will not be accepted)
  • II Grade Overseer/ Draftsman (Civil)-
  1. Group Certificate under KGTE or equivalent Examinations OR;
  2. Diploma in Craftsmanship in the trade of ‘Draftsman (Civil)’ or ‘Surveyor’ obtained after 18 months course (followed by 6 months practical training) at the Industrial Training Institutes/Centres conducted by the Government of India, Ministry of Labour OR;
  3. Diploma in Civil Engineering (2 year course) of the Women’s Polytechnic of the State.

Selection Procedure:

The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of the interview/exam conducted by the commission.
