ITI Diploma holders seeking employment with the Indian Railways have an excellent opportunity to join the North Central Railway in the capacity of Act Apprentice Trainee. Candidates can apply for the 413 pots of which 195 posts are for the fitter trade, 102 posts are for the Welder (Gas & Electric), 44 Posts are for the tradesman from Mechanic Machine & Tool Maintenance, 17 posts are for the Machinist, 32 Posts are for the Painter trade, 4 apprentice posts are for the crane operator and 17 apprentice post are for the Electrician trade.
Candidates having the completed 10th or equivalent education qualification with minimum 50 % marks and ITI certificate in the relevant trade from a recognised NCVT recognized institution are eligible to apply.
Selection of candidates will be done through the Academic qualification, written examination, and skill test as per the norms of Apprenticeship act. Candidates can prepare for the examination through the study material and practice papers provided here
The candidates applying for the NCR Act Apprentice posts should not be more than 24 years of age as on the last date of application. Relaxations are allowed for the candidates belonging to the reserved categories
