SSC GD Exam Timing 2025: Check CBT Exam Duration and Shift Timing

SSC GD Shift Timings: SSC exams are known for their high level of competition, with lakhs of candidates applying every year. One of the most competitive exams is the SSC GD Constable, scheduled to be held from February 4 to February 25. Last year, over 47 lakh candidates registered for 50,187 vacancies. This year, 39,481 vacancies have been announced, and the number of applicants is expected to surpass the previous year, although exact figures are yet to be disclosed. Due to the large number of candidates, the examination will be conducted over multiple days and shifts to accommodate everyone. The SSC GD exam will take place in four shifts at designated centres across the country.

The shift timings for the SSC GD exam are as follows: 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM, and 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Candidates are advised to check their admit cards for the exact shift timing. SSC GD Shift Timings

SSC GD Exam Duration

The SSC GD Constable exam is a computer-based test (CBT) that assesses candidates' knowledge in various subjects. The exam will be conducted for a total duration of 60 minutes (1 hour). The test consists of 80 questions divided into four sections:

• General Intelligence and Reasoning
• General Knowledge and General Awareness
• Elementary Mathematics
• English/Hindi Comprehension

Each section carries equal marks, and candidates will need to answer all questions within the allotted time. Negative marking is also applicable, with 0.50 marks deducted for each incorrect answer.
