Staff Selection Commission (SSC) in view of the recent declaraton of the SI Delhi Police, CAPFs & ASI CISF Exam 2017 Final Result, has revised due to the respresentation received on the issue specific to Ex-servicemen candidates which necessitated a re-examination of this aspect of the result. Hence, reviewing the final result in view of Ex-Servicemen, the Revised Final Result of SI Delhi Police, CAPFs & ASI CISF Exam 2017 has been issued by the Commission on 03 November 2018.

In view of the same, SSC SI Delhi Police, CAPFs & ASI CISF Exam 2017 Final Result declaed on 31 October 2018 has been withdrawn by the Commission and the revised result has been issued at its official website, ssc.nic.in.

According to the revised final result, following changes have been incorporated-

  • 63 (sixty three) candidates who were earlier ‘Not selected’ have now qualified the said exam.
  • 61 (sixty one) candidates who were earlier declared as ‘Selected’ do not now qualify the exam in the revised result.
  • There has also been a change in the posts allocated to 84 candidates.
  • With regard to female candidates, though there has been no change in their allocation to various posts, a change has been effected in their All India ranking.

As per the result notification, the candidates shortlisted for the Next Stage of the selection process, which is the document verification.

Along with releasing the Final Result for SSC SI Delhi Police, CAPFs & ASI CISF Exam 2017, the Commission also released the cut-off for each paper basis which the candidates have been shortlisted for the next round.

The Staff Selection Commission conducted a Computer Based Examination for recruitment of SubInspectors in Delhi Police, CAPFs and Assistant Sub-Inspectors in CISF Examination, 2017(Paper-I) from 01.07.2017 to 07.07.2017. The result of Paper-I was declared by the Commission on 06.09.2017. Paper-II of the said Examination was held on 15.12.2017 for those candidates who qualified in PET/PST. The result of Paper-II was declared on 29.01.2018 for shortlisting candidates for Medical Examination.

According to the result write-up dated 26.09.2018, 4959 candidates (4126 male and 833 female) were called for Document Verification. Further, as per result write-up dated 05.10.2018, 117 additional candidates (95 male and 22 female) were also declared qualified to be called for Document Verification.

Accordingly, a total of 5076 candidates (4221 Male and 855 Female) were qualified for Document Verification of the said examination.

SSC SI CPO Paper I Result to be out on 09 September 2017; Check @ssc.nic.in

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will release the result of Paper I Examination of sub-inspector in central police organizations (SI/CPO) examination 2017 on 09 September 2017. All the candidates who have appeared in the written examination can take a look at the main site to check their results after the links are activated.

The SI/CPO Paper-I examination was conducted from 01 July to 07 July 2017 to fill up posts of Sub Inspector in Delhi Police, CAPFs and Assistant Sub Inspector in CISF in Group B  and C. A total of 2221 posts will be filled up by the Commission out of which 786 SI posts (male & female) and 583 assistant sub inspector (ASI) executive posts in the Delhi Police, Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) will be filled.

Candidates will be subjected to the two phase objective type multiple choice examination process before the Physical Endurance test, Medical Test and Physical Standard Test as stipulated by the SSC. 

Paper I examination consisted of General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Knowledge and Awareness, quantitative Aptitude and English Comprehension. Each subject consisted of 50 marks and the duration of examination was 2 hours.

As per the official notification, Paper II examination will be conducted on 08 September 2017. Candidates who qualified Paper I examination will be held eligible to appear for the next round. Paper II consists of English Language and Comprehension subjects. The examination will consist of 200 questions carrying 1 mark each and the duration of the examination will be for 2 hours.

Candidates will also have to appear for PET/Medical Examination as per the schedule. The PET/PST Examination will be conducted after Paper I exam and after clearing the PET/PST exam, candidates will be allowed to appear in Paper II.

Candidates who appeared in Paper I examination can check their results by visiting the official site of SSC and click on the link ‘Declaration of SI/CPO Paper-I result, 2017’. A pdf page containing result will open and candidates can check their name or roll number given in it. Keep in mind to save the pdf file for further reference.

The official notification of the examination was issued in the month of April-May. The last date to fill up the application form for the examination was till 15 May 2017. Candidates who had graduation degree in their kitty were applicable to apply for the posts. For the post of Delhi Police SI candidate should possess a valid driving license for LMV.
