UPSC NDA Notification 2024 Download for 400 Vacancies, Check Registration Form, Exam Date, Eligibility

UPSC NDA Notification 2024: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is inviting applications from the students who want to appear National Defence Academy and Naval Academy (I) Exam 2024. The application form is available on the official website i.e. upsconline.nic.in. They can fill it on or before 09 January 2024. The applicant needs to register himself/herself first at the One Time Registration (OTR) platform, available on the Commission’s website, and then proceed to fill up the online application for the examination. The candidate should be unmarried. More details related to eligibility are available below.

The commission is filling up 400 vacancies for admission to the Army, Navy and Air Force wings of the NDA for the 153rd Course and for the 115th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC) commencing from 02 January 2025.  They can check more details regarding NDA Recruitment 2024 in the notification PDF available on upsc.nic.in and below.

UPSC NDA 1 Exam Date 2024

The exam will be conducted on 21 April for all the applicants who will successfully submit their applications. The mode of the exam will be offline. For both writing and marking answers in the OMR sheet (Answer Sheet) candidates must use black ball pens only Pens with any other colour are 
prohibited.

Educational Qualification:

• For admission to the Army Wing of the National Defence Academy, candidates are required to have completed the 12th grade under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or an equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or University.

• For the Air Force and Naval Wings of the National Defence Academy, as well as for the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy, candidates must have passed the 12th grade with Physics and Mathematics, following the 10+2 pattern of School Education or an equivalent qualification from a State Education Board or University.

Only unmarried male/female candidates born not earlier than 02nd July, 2005 and not later than 1st July, 2008 are eligible

UPSC NDA 2024 Selection Method

The candidates will be called for the written exam followed by the SSB Interview.

UPSC NDA Exam Pattern 2024

There will be 300 questions on Maths and 600 on General Ability Test. Each section will be given 2 hours and 30 minutes. There will be negative marking for wrong answers.

Online Question Paper Representation Portal (QPRep)

The Commission has introduced a time frame of 7 days (a week) i.e. from the next day of the Examination Date to 6.00 p.m. of the 7th day is fixed for the candidates to make representations to the Commission on the questions asked in the Papers of the Examination.  Such representation must be submitted through the “Online Question Paper Representation Portal (QPRep)” only by accessing the URL upsconline/nic/in/miscellaneous/QPRep/.  No representation by email/post/hand or by any other mode shall be accepted and the Commission shall not be involved in any correspondence with the candidates in this regard.  No representation shall be accepted under any circumstances after this window of 7 days are over.

How to Apply for NDA Exam 2024: How to Submit Application ?

Step 1: Navigate to the UPSC Online website at upsconline.nic.in. The applicant must initiate the registration process on the One Time Registration (OTR) platform, conveniently accessible on the Commission’s website.

Step 2: Upon successful registration, the applicant must log in (using Email ID, Mobile Number, or OTR ID) to verify the previously registered OTR application.

Step 3: Access the Latest Notification tab within the OTR application.

Step 4: Apply for the desired examination.

Step 5: Complete the necessary details.

Step 6: Upload the required documents.

Step 7: Process the payment for the application fee.

UPSC NDA Interview 2024

Those who clear the written exam will be called for SSB Interview, The SSB procedure consists of two stages - stage I and stage II.

Stage I - Officer Intelligence Rating (OIR) tests which includes Picture Perception/Description Test (PP&DT). The candidates will be shortlisted based on a combination of performance in the OIR Test and PP&DT.

Stage 2 - Comprises of Interviews, Group Testing Officer Tasks, Psychology Tests and the Conference. These tests are conducted over 4 days. The details of these tests are given on the website joinindianarmy.nic.in.

UPSC NDA Admit Card 2024

The admit cards will be made available for download three weeks before the examination. Candidates are obligated to obtain their admit cards from the commission's website.

UPSC NDA Result 2024

The commission will publish a selection list containing the roll numbers or names of successful candidates. The result will be declared in a month.
