Bharati Vidhyapeeth University is one of the most renowned educational institutes in India. Every year, the University conducts a Common Entrance Test (also known as BVP CET) at the country level. It is essential to pass this exam in order to qualify for the admissions to the University’s courses in BDS/ MBBS/ BSc Nursing and B Pharma in various college affiliated to it.

The Bharati Vidhyapeeth University has set certain eligibility criteria for the BVP CET Medical exam 2014. According to this criteria, the applicant must be a citizen of India;he/ she should have obtained at least 50% marks in their 10+2 exam; they should have obtained at least, on average, 50% marks in Biology, Chemistry and Physics together; and if an applicant belongs to SC or ST category, the percentage required is 40%. As per the information available regarding the exam pattern, the duration of BVP CET 2014 exam will be 3 hours. The test paper will carry 200 questions out of which 100 will be from Biology and 50 each from Chemistry and Physics.

A small fee is charged for the exam. An applicant can submit this fee either via an online payment gateway with the help of their Debit or Credit card (net banking) or through a Demand Draft made in favor of “The Registrar, Bharati Vidyapeeth’s University.” The Demand Draft should be payable at Pune. Once you have paid the fee, fill in the registration form available online on the official portal. If you are submitting the fee via DD, take a print out of your duly filled application form and send it to the University along with the DD. All application form must be submitted latest by 2nd May.

The Bharati Vidhyapeeth University Common Entrance Test exam is scheduled to be conducted on 11th May. There is sufficient time and the candidates can devised suitable preparation strategies to pass the exam. One thing that can prove to be very useful in cracking BVP CET 2014 exam is the quality of study material. Go through reference books that offer comprehensive explanations. It is also recommended to solve model and sample test papers. It will help you get familiar to the exam pattern as well as recognize the areas where you need to improve. The BVP CET 2014 exam results will be declared on 16th June after which the counseling process will be initiated.
