The recommendations of the embassy were issued along with a security message to Americans in Lebanon. This warning has been issued following the spate of bombings and shootings in Beirut and other parts of Lebanon.

As expected the two deadly bombings in Beirut in past two weeks that killed a dozen of people is related to the violence of the civil war in Syria. The Syrian violence has sent its tensions in Lebanon were the two communities of Lebanese Muslims are ready to conflict. The responsibility for the two blasts was taken by an al Qaeda linked group.
