He has a strong academic background, and holds an engineering degree from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi and an MBA from Columbia Business School in the United States according to Blinkit’s press release. 

Before Blinkit, Albinder started his career being a transportation analyst at URS Corporation according to his LinkedIn account. Later, Dhindsa co-founded Grofers and built it into one of India’s most recognizable quick commerce brands.

Now, as part of the leadership transition, he will be taking over as Group Chief Executive Officer of Eternal Ltd expectedly on February 1, 2026.
