CAT 2021 Important Instructions Released for Exam Day at iimcat.ac.in, Check Instructions Here

CAT 2021: As per the updates, the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad has released important instructions for the exam day that all candidates must know about and follow. The authorities have released the CAT guidelines on the official website - iimcat.ac.in. As per the released schedule, CAT 2021 will be held on 28th November. The exam will be held in three sessions and IIM Ahmedabad has stated that the rules related to reporting timings, social distancing and others must be followed in all the shifts. Candidates are advised to go through the important exam day instructions provided below. They must note that COVID-19 safety protocols have to be followed by everyone. 

Important instructions by IIM Ahmedabad CAT 2021 

• Candidates must remember to take a print of the self-declaration form and carry it to the CAT exam hall.
• They are informed that the entry gates will be closed at least 15 minutes before the commencement of the examination. Hence, they are advised to reach in time. 
• Candidates are advised not to wear any jewellery or precious items in the exam hall and detailed instructions on the same will be released soon. 
• The ideal reporting timings for all shifts - 7 am for the first shift, 11 am for the second shift and 3 pm for the last shift. Hence, candidates are advised to reach the exam hall around these timings.
• Social distancing has to be maintained at all times. No one will be allowed to crowd the area or share any items under any circumstances. 
• Candidates will be given sheets for rough work during the exam. They must remember to return it to the invigilator after the exam concludes. 
• A pen and a scribble pad will be provided for each candidate at their terminal. Only one pen and one scribble pad will be provided for the duration of the test.
• Candidates shall not be allowed to appear in more than one Shift. It would be deemed as a fraudulent activity. 

Also, candidates are advised to keep their self-declaration form ready and carry it to the exam hall on the main day. This form would be available with CAT admit card. The detailed guidelines will be released soon on the official website.
