
CAT Result 2021: As per the updates, the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad has declared the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2021 result today on 3rd January 2022 in an online mode. Candidates can check the CAT exam result at iimcat.ac.in. They will be required to download their CAT scorecards by using their login IDs.
Around 2.30 lakh candidates had registered for the exam and around 85% of them appeared for it. The institute will soon release the toppers list on the official website. However, as per media updates, 9 candidates, all-male, have scored 100 percentile marks. The most number of 100 percentile scorers are from Maharashtra (4), followed by Uttar Pradesh (2).

CAT Cut off and Toppers List 2021
Among the 100 percentile scorers, 7 belong to engineering academic background while 2 are from the non-engineering stream. Of the 19 students who secured 99.99 percentile, 16 are from engineering academics. Similarly, of those who secured 99.98 percentile, 15 out of 19 are engineers. As CAT result 2021 has now been announced, IIMs and other institutions will announce the CAT 2021 cut-offs soon on their website. The list of CAT 2021 toppers will be released at iimcat.ac.in.
What After the release of CAT 2021 Result?
Candidates who will secure marks equal to or more than the cut off marks will be called for the further admission process. IIMs will send separate call letters to the shortlisted candidates through an Email ID. IIMs follow a three-tier selection process - Written Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussion (GD), and Personal Interview (PI) rounds.
Applicants can also apply to private colleges for admissions based on the CAT 2021 score. The final admissions at various colleges will be done based on various parameters like CAT 2021 score, work experience, academic performance, and others.
