CAT Response Sheet Live - Check CAT Answer Key on iimcat.ac.in

IIM Calcutta has issued an official notification regarding the date and time for the release of the CAT 2024 provisional answer key. According to the official notification issued, the answer key will be available for download from December 3, 2024. 

CAT 2024 answer key is available on the official website - iimcat.ac.in. The answer key PDF will include the following details

• Slot details
• Question number
• Answer Option

Candidates can follow the steps provided below to download the CAT 2024 response sheets.

• Click on candidate login and enter the user id and password
• Click on the response sheet pdf link
• Download the response sheet for further reference

According to the information provided on the official website, the CAT 2024 results are expected to be announced in the first week of January 2025. Students who have appeared for the CAT Exams will be able to download their CAT 2024 scorecard at iimcat.ac.in. The CAT 2024 scorecard is valid only till December 31, 2025.

The CAT 2024 official answer key link is available at iimcat.ac.in. With the release of the answer key students can now calculate their scire and percentile estimate before the announcement of CAT 2024 results.

Based on the objections raised, the exam conducting body will revised the CAT 2024 provisional answer key and issue the final answer key. The options mentioned in the final answer key will be taken into consideration when declaring the CAT 2024 results. 

Students can raise objections in the CAT 2024 answer key through the link provided online. Students need to first cross check the responses mentioned with the provisional answer key issued. In case of objections, candidates are required to click on the objection window and submit the challenges along with the documents supporting the claim.

The response sheet contains the questions and the answers marked by students during their computer based exam. The CAT 2024 official answer key will include the following details

Step 1: Calculate the total number of candidates (N) who appeared for CAT (i.e. including morning, afternoon and evening sessions).

Step 2: Assign a rank (r), based on the scaled scores obtained in the QA section, to all candidates who appeared for CAT. In the case of two or more candidates obtaining identical scaled scores in the QA section, assign identical ranks to all those candidates.

As an illustration, suppose exactly two candidates obtain the highest scaled score in the QA section, then both of those candidates are assigned a rank of 1. Moreover, the candidate(s) obtaining the second highest scaled score in the QA section are assigned a rank of 3 and so on.

Step 3: Calculate the percentile score (P) of a candidate with rank (r) in the QA section as: 𝑃 = (𝑁 − 𝑟) x 100 𝑁

Step 4: Round off the calculated percentile score (P) of a candidate up to two decimal points. For example, all percentile scores greater than or equal to 99.995 are rounded off to 100, all percentile scores greater than or equal to 99.985 but strictly less than 99.995 are rounded off to 99.99 and so on.

To download the CAT 2024 answer key along with response sheets, students must use the following details

According to media reports, the slot-wise CAT 2024 answer key has been published online. A link however is yet to be provided on the official website iimcat.ac.in. 

Along with releasing the CAT 2024 answer key and response sheets, IIM CAT will also activate the CAT 2024 answer key objection window. Through the objection window, students can raise challenges based on the response sheet and the official answer key. When submitting the objections students are also required to upload relevant documents supporting the challenges. Details will be provided gere soon.

IIM Calcutta conducted the CAT 2024 exam on November 24, 2024. Considering previous year trends, the CAT answer key 2024 is expected to be released by the first week of Decemb er 2024.
