GSET 2021 Postponed: As per the latest update, Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Vadodara has postponed the GSET 2021 - The Gujarat State Eligibility Test. According to the original schedule released earlier, the University was to hold the state-level eligibility examination on 26th December 2021. However, it has now been postponed by nearly a month and will now be held on 23rd January 2022. To confirm the development, the university has uploaded a notification on its website which provides information about change in the examination date. Admit Cards 7 Days Before the Exam
In line with the postponement of the examination date for GSET 2021, the date for the release of exam hall ticket has also been postponed. Going by the official notification, the GSET admit card 2021 was to be issued only 7 days prior to the examination and in line with this, now students can expect the GSET Hall Ticket 2021 to be out by 14th January 2022. Candidates should also note that issuance of GSET 2021 Hall Ticket will be done online and it will not be sent to the candidates via post. After being issued by the MS University, candidates will be required to download admit cards online from the official website i.e. gujaratset.in.
GSET 2021 Exam Pattern
With nearly a month-long postponement in the GSET 2021 Exam date, candidates have not got another month to prepare for the examination. Despite the delay, the exam authority has not notified any changes to the exam patter or the syllabus of the state-level eligibility examination as of now. Therefore, candidates should expect the exam to be held as per earlier patter. The GSET 2021 Exam pattern says that the exam will consist of two papers which will be objective in nature with MCQs – Multiple Choice Questions.
GSET Paper 1 will consist of 50 questions and will carry 100 marks; while Paper 2 of GSET 2021 will be 100 questions and will carry 200 marks. The total time duration of the exam will be of 3 Hours and it will be held in morning shift / session i.e. from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm. Both question papers will consist of questions in both Gujarat as well as English language (except for languages and science subjects). In terms of marking scheme there would be no negative marking for incorrect answers.
