IIM Bangalore holds 49th Convocation Ceremony; award degrees to 706 students
IIM Bangalore Convocation 2024: IIM Bangalore conducted its 49th convocation ceremony on April 6, 2024. A total of 706 students from various programmes were awarded their degrees, including eight gold medals.
IIM Bangalore Convocation 2024: The Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore held its 49th convocation ceremony on April 6, 2024. A total of 706 students from different programmes were awarded their degrees. Along with degrees, this year IIM Bangalore introduced the Institute Research Award for a graduating student of the PhD programme. The award comprises of monetary reward of Rs 1.75 lakh, a certificate, and a memento. Bibek Bhattacharya, a graduating PhD student in the Strategy area became the first student to win this award.
“IIMBx’s offering on Hospital Management is going to be a boon for the country since it is designed for participants to be equipped for the future healthcare industry in India, enabling them to administer hospitals in a smooth and efficient manner,” said Devi Shetty, chairperson of the board of governors at IIM Bangalore while speaking about its digital learning initiative IIMBx. He also commended the institute for its outstanding national and global rankings.
