Varanasi School News Today: IMD Predicts Foggy Days Till Jan 18
Today, Varanasi is witnessing a cold temperature of 13 degrees Celsius. The day's maximum temperature would hover at 17°c, while the minimum temperature is predicted to be at 7°c. As per the IMD Prediction, the district shall continue to have foggy days until January 18, 2024.
Noida, Greater Noida Schools Closed Until Jan 16
In another winter vacation 2024 news, as per instructions received from Gautam Buddha Nagar DM Maneesh Kumar Verma, the Basic Education Minister has declared holidays in Noida and Greater Noida schools until January 16, 2024, from nursery to class 8th.
District Inspector of Schools, Dharmveer Singh has issued school timings for class 9 to 12 students in a separate order. The classes will now run between 10.00 am to 3.00 pm.
Punjab School Holiday Announced Till Jan 21
The state government has extended the Punjab school winter vacation 2024 until class 5th. The schools will remain closed until January 21, 2024, due to cold and harsh weather conditions. Punjab Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains stated that the regular classes will be running for class 6 to 12 students between 10.00 am and 3.00 pm.
