Patna School Holidays: Patna District Magistrate office has issued a notification regarding the closure of schools in the city. According to the notification shared, the school holidays have been extended to January 20, 2024.
According to the notice shared on social media, the announcement has been made regarding the educational activities for students up to class 8. Schools will be closed for these students until January 20, 2024, due to the cold wave in the region and the health risks to students.
The notification states that cold weather and low temperatures continue in the district due to which the health and life of children are being affected. The District Magistrate Patna has ordered all private and government schools of Patna district have been banned from continuing educational activities up to class 8 until January 20, 2024, the notification further reads.
School Timings Changed
The notification further mentions the revision of school timings for students from classes 9 to 12. According to the details given, classes will be conducted from 9 am to 3:30 pm for students of classes 9 to 12. According to the earlier orders, classes will not be conducted before 9 am and after 3:30 pm. Special classes will have to be conducted with required precautions and board exams will be free from this rule, the notification adds.
