For Professor, A medical Qualification, A postgraduate qualification e.g. MD/MS in the respective discipline/subject, M.Ch. for surgical superspecialities and D.M. for Medical Superspecialities or qualification recognized equivalent thereto with Fourteen years teaching and/or research experience in recognized Institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D./M.S. or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

For Additional Professor, A medical Qualification, A postgraduate qualification e.g. MD/MS in the respective discipline/subject, M.Ch. for surgical superspecialities and D.M. for Medical Superspecialities or qualification recognized equivalent thereto with Ten years teaching and/or research experience in recognized Institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D./M.S. or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

For Associate Professor, A medical Qualification, A postgraduate qualification e.g. MD/MS in the respective discipline/subject, M.Ch. for surgical superspecialities and D.M. for Medical Superspecialities or qualification recognized equivalent thereto with Six years teaching and/or research experience in recognized Institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D./M.S. or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

For Assistant Professor, A medical Qualification, A postgraduate qualification e.g. MD/MS in the respective discipline/subject, M.Ch. for surgical superspecialities and D.M. for Medical Superspecialities or qualification recognized equivalent thereto with Three years teaching and/or research experience in recognized Institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D./M.S. or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

For Reader/Associate Professor, Master Degree in Nursing, Registered Nurse Midwife with Eight years experience after MSc in Nursing including 5 years teaching experience.

For Lecturer/Assistant Professor, Master Degree in Nursing, Registered Nurse Midwife with Five years experience with a minimum of two years teaching experience in Nursing.
