Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is conducted by by AICTE (All India Council of Technical Education) twice in a year. CMAT was started by AICTE in the year 2012. CMAT Exam Score is accepted in all the colleges approved by AICTE.
CMAT Exam is conducted twice in a year. Students can sit for both the exams for admission in single academic session and then use the best score for admission purpose.

CMAT Examination Pattern:
CMAT Exam consists of objective type questions. It is conducted both in computer based format and paper based format. Total time provided to solve 100 questions in CMAT Exam is 3 hours.
Marking Scheme of CMAT Examination:
Questions in the CMAT Examination are usually of four marks each. And for every wrong response, there is a penalty of 1 mark.
