CRPF will conduct an examination for Recruitment of Male and Female Indian citizens who are ordinarily resident of their respective states to fill up the vacancies of Constables (Technical & Tradesmen) i.e Driver/Fitter/Bugler/Tailor/Brass Band/Pipe Band/ Cobbler /Carpenter/ Gardner/ Painter /Cook / Water Carrier/ Washer(Men/Women)/ Safai Karamchari / Barber/ Hair Dresser in Central Reserve Police Force as per the Recruitment Scheme/ Rules formulated by the Ministry of Home Affairs.

Candidates should note that the numbers of Vacancies given above are tentative and may increase or decrease at any time/stage of recruitment process, due to administrative reasons. The revision in vacancies, if any, is likely to be notified through corrigendum notification at stages around written exam and /or at skill, medical exam stage or prior to declaration of final selection result.
Eligibility Criteria: 10th pass for all posts. ITI qualification is required for few posts. More details in this regard can be found from the link given below. Other important eligibility criteria are:

| Physical Standard- Height | Male (170 cms); Female (157 cms) |
| Physical Standard- Chest | Expanded (Minimum 5 cms expansion); Unexpanded 80 cms |
| Physical Standard- Weight | For males and females: Proportionate to height and age as per medical standards and Govt. instructions |
| Medical Standards- Eye Sight | The minimum distant vision should be 6/6 & 6/6 of both eyes without correction i.e. without wearing of glasses. Further, the colour perception standard should be CP-II as contained in the new guidelines issued by Govt. of India during 2015. |
| Candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes. They must be in good mental and physical health for duties in all places including in high altitude and be fit to serve in border areas with extreme climatic conditions and must be free from any defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties. | |
How to Apply
Interested and eligible candidates are required to send their application online. Male candidates belonging to General(UR)/OBC category applying for recruitment to the above posts should deposit Rs 100/- (Rupees Hundred)Only as examination fee. After submitting the online application, the candidates are required to take print out of the finally submitted online application and retain the same with them.
