GATE 2024 Paper Analysis: The GATE 2024 exam is scheduled to be conducted by the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore on February 03, 04, 10 and 11, 2024, at designated test centres spread across 8 exam zones. The exam will be conducted in two sessions- Forenoon Session from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and Afternoon Session from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.

GATE 2024 Civil Engineering (CE) Analysis

The GATE Civil Engineering (CE) exam contains three sections i.e. General Aptitude, Engineering Mathematics and Civil Engineering. The GATE DA exam has 65 questions with a total of 100 marks. The total allotted time for this online exam is 3 hours.

As per the initial response, the exam held in the morning shift was relatively difficult as compared to the previous year.

GATE 2024 Civil Engineering (CE) Section-wise Analysis: Session 2

As per the initial response, the difficulty level of this session was also similar to the exam held in session 1.  The papers in both sessions were moderately difficult level.

GATE 2024 Chemical Engineering (CH) Analysis

The GATE Chemical Engineering paper contains three sections General Aptitude, Engineering Mathematics and Chemical Engineering. The GATE Chemical Engineering exam has 65 questions with a total of 100 marks. The total allotted time for the exam is 3 hours. 

As per the initial response, the overall exam was relatively easier as compared to the previous year.

GATE 2024 Mathematics (MA) Analysis

The GATE Mathematics paper contains questions based on General Aptitude and Mathematics. The GATE Mathematics exam has 65 questions with a total of 100 marks. The total allotted time for this online exam is 3 hours. 

As per the initial response, the overall exam was moderately difficult and some questions asked in the exam were tricky as well as lengthy in nature.
