JEE Main 2025 Exam Day Dress Code for Shift 2

• As per the dress code mentioned on the JEE Main 2025 admit card, candidates are not allowed to wear shoes/footwear with thick soles and garments with large buttons.
• Candidates must avoid wearing anything that can hinder the frisking process. Wear simple clothing and avoid clothes with many pockets.
• Candidates who are required to wear religious/custom attire must reach the exam centres as early as possible for thorough checking and frisking.

As per the feedback provided by the students, physics was moderately tricky, mathematics was moderate and lengthy, and chemistry was easy.

There will be negative marking for incorrect answers in Section A and Section B. For each question in Section B, a candidate has to enter the correct integer value of the answer using the mouse and the on-screen virtual numeric keypad in the place designated to enter the answer. For Section B, the answer should be rounded off to the nearest integer.

Negative marking will be there in Section B. If any discrepancy is found after the process of challenges to the key verification, it shall be addressed in the following manner:

1. Correct Answer: Four marks (+4)

2. Incorrect Answer: Minus one mark (-1)

3. Unanswered/Marked for Review: No mark (0).

JEE Main 2025 April session day 1 shift 1 is ongoing. The exam will be over by noon. As the exam will be over, candidates will get a detailed exam analysis with memory-based questions and answers.

NTA has released the JEE Main Admit Card for the exams to be held on April 2, 3 and 4. Students can download the admit card from the official website, which is jeemain.nta.nic.in. The admit cards for the exams to be held on April 7, 8, and 9 is yet to be issued. 

The National Testing Agency will announce the All India Ranks of the candidates with the JEE Main Session 2 result. The final percentile of the candidates and the AIR will be based on the best performance of the students out of both sessions. NTA will announce the final result by April 17.

The JEE Main April 2 Shift 1 exam will be concluded by 12 noon. The detailed analysis will be available here soon. The analysis will be about the important questions asked, the total weightage of all the topics, along with the expected cut-off and difficulty level. 

Food items will not be allowed inside the exam centre. However, diabetic patients can carry essential food items like apples, oranges and sugar tablets along with a transparent water bottle. Packed food items like chocolates or candies are not allowed.
