Candidates seeking to apply for Civic Volunteer post should be Class VIII Passed. Selection of Kolkata Police Civic Volunteers 2019 for enrolment in different Divisions of Kolkata Police will be done through the process of interview by the selection committee comprising Deputy Commissioner of Police (I), Traffic Department, Kolkata as Chairman and one Assistant Commissioner of Police & one Inspector working under Deputy Commissioner of Police (I), Traffic Department, Kolkata as members.

Eligibility Criteria for Civic Volunteer
Educational Qualification and Experience:
- 8th class passed
- Should be physically & mentally fit
- He/She should not have any criminal record against him / her in any Police Station
- Preference will be given to the candidates, applying for Wireless Branch, having valid Driving Licence and working experience as Motor Mechanic etc.
- Preference would be given to the applicants who have done well in sports and have experience as NCC Cadet / Boy Scouts / NSS Guide / Civil Defence Volunteers etc.
Age Limit:
20 to 60 Years
Selection Procedure for Civic Volunteer
Selection will be based on the interview by the Selection Committee.
