Pay Scale
For post 1: Pay Band 2 of Rs. 9300 – 34800 with Grade Pay of Rs. 4600 per month
For post 2: Pay Band 2 of Rs. 9300 – 34800 with Grade Pay of Rs. 4200 per month
Eligibility Criteria
For post 1: Officers under the Central Board of Direct Taxes, Central Board of Excise & Customs, Narcotics Department, Directorate of Enforcement (MoF) and Central Police Organisation holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre/ Department with 3 years regular service in the post in the pay band 2 of Rs. 9300- 34800 with Grade Pay of Rs.4200 or equivalent in the parent cadre/ Department and possessing 2 years experience in enforcement of regulatory laws or Investigation of offences and collection of intelligence.
For post 2: Inspector of Income Tax OR Customs & Central Excise or Narcotics (NCB or CBN) OR Assistant Enforcement Officer OR Sub-Inspector of Police OR CBI OR Head Clerk of Tax Assistants or Upper Division Clerks of Income Tax & Central Excise & Customs Departments who have qualified the Departmental examination for promotion to the grade of Inspector in the respective Departments.
Maximum Age limit: not exceed 56 years
