MoAFW invited applications for the 14 posts of Director and Other under Various Departments

Ministry of Agriculture & Farmer’s Welfare (MoAFW) invited applications for recruitment to the post for Director, Assistant Director, Assistant Commissioner, Administrative Officer, Animal Nutritionist, and Other under various departments. The candidates eligible for the post can apply through the prescribed format within 60 days (3 May 2017) from the date of advertisement.

There are 14 posts under deputation basis,,  candidates having the completed Graduation post graduation in the field of veterinary science and Animal husbandry and currently employed  under the central Government/ State Government/ PSU or Autonomous or statutory organizations can apply for the post through the deputation mode.

Deputy Commissioner (Animal Husbandry): candidate should have degree in Veterinary and Animal Husbandry and should be registered with the VCI. Candidate should be an officer under central Government/ State Government/ PSU or Autonomous or statutory organizations or equivalent and should be holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or department with 5 years’ service in the requisite grade.

Director (Information and Communication): candidate should have degree in Veterinary and Animal Husbandry and should be registered with the VCI. Candidate should be an officer under central Government/ State Government/ PSU or Autonomous or statutory organizations or equivalent and should be holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or department with 8 years’ service in the requisite grade.

Director (Central) Poultry Development): candidate should have degree in Veterinary and Animal Husbandry and should be registered with the VCI. Candidate should be an officer under central Government/ State Government/ PSU or Autonomous or statutory organizations or equivalent and should be holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or department with 8 years’ service in the requisite grade.

Administrative Officer: candidate should have bachelors’ degree from a recognised university. Candidate should be an officer under central Government/ State Government/ PSU or Autonomous or statutory organizations or equivalent and should be holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or department with 8 years’ service in the requisite grade.
