REET 2025 Exam: The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education has released the notification for the REET exam on Wednesday evening after a long wait. The application process for REET is starting from December 16 while the last date for application is January 15 while the exam is to be conducted on February 27. REET is an eligibility test. This examination is conducted for the eligibility of Grade III teachers for Level-1 i.e. Primary Class 1 to 5 and Level-2 Upper Primary Classes 6 to 8. Successful candidates in this examination are given a certificate which has now become valid for life. The examination is to be conducted by the Board of Secondary Education.
The REET exam will be held on February 27 and will be held from December 16 to January 15.
Ajmer, December 11. The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) has released the notification for the Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test (REET 2024). The process of online application for Level 1 and 2 for REET examination will start from 16 December and will run till 15 January 2025. Candidates can apply by visiting the official website of the Board of Secondary Education. This time the exam will be conducted on 27th February 2025.
Secretary Shri Kailash Chandra Sharma informed that this time some important changes have been made in the pattern of REET examination. The exam will be on the OMR sheet and the fifth option (fifth option) has been included in it. This change has been made with the aim of making the exam more transparent and accurate.
He informed that the examination will be conducted at each district headquarters. The board has also ensured that strict security arrangements will be made for the successful conduct of the examination. CCTV cameras will be installed at all examination centres and special teams will be deployed for surveillance.

Candidates can complete the application process in time. The examination fee for Level 1 and 2 is Rs 550. If a candidate applies for both levels, then he will have to pay a fee of Rs 750.

On-line Application Process
- The examination application form for the Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test (REET)-2024 will be filled online by the scheduled dates on the link REET-2024 released on the website http://rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in.
- Instructions and forms for the application will be available on the said website.
- Applications made in any way other than online will not be accepted. First of all, the candidate has to enter the name, father's name, mother's name, level of examination and mobile number and the concerned e-friend/mobile number. Candidates will have to pay the examination fee by choosing bank/online payment.
- E-Mitra Only after verification of fee from the bank, the candidate will be able to fill his examination application form.
- The fee can be verified by marking the challan number on the website.
Examination Fee:
There has been no change in the REET application fee. Applicants can pay the challan/challan through the banks as per their eligibility as per the examination fee prescribed as follows. Debit Card/Net Banking/ You will be able to deposit it through e-friend.

REET 2025 Eligibility Criteria
REET is the teaching eligibility test which consists of 2 examinations i.e. Paper-1 which is conducted for selection at the primary level i.e. Classes I to V and Paper 2 which is conducted for the secondary level i.e. Classes VI to VIII. Here we are discussing the REET eligibility criteria for different levels separately.
Age Limit: Candidate is eligible to fill application during their minimum age of 21 years, age relaxation for reserved category candidates.
- Minimum Qualifications to Become a Teacher for Classes I-V: (Primary Stage)
- Passing or appearing in the final year of Senior Secondary and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education with at least 50% marks. or
- Passing or appearing in the final year of Secondary (or its equivalent) and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education with at least 45% marks. or
- Passing or appearing in the final year of Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) and 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) with at least 50% marks. or
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passing or appearing in the final year of 2 years Diploma in Education (Special Education). or
- Graduation and passing or appearing in the final year of the two-year Diploma in Elementary Education. Minimum Qualifications to Become a Teacher for Classes VI-VIII (Primary Stage)
- Graduation and passing or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education. or
- Graduation or Post Graduation and Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) with at least 50% marks. or
- Graduation with at least 45% marks and passing or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) following NCTE (Recognition Criteria and Procedure). or
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passing or appearing in the final year of 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.). or
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and B.A./B.Sc.Ed. OR B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed. Passing or appearing in the final year of 4 years. and
- Graduate or Post Graduate with at least 50% marks and 1 year B.Ed. Passing or appearing in (Special Education).
