RRB JE Exam Pattern 2024
The RRB JE exam pattern consists of a four stage selection procedure, i.e., RRB JE CBT 1 and 2, CBAT and document verification. RRB JE Exam Pattern for CBT 1
The first stage of the examination is known as the RRB JE CBT 1 (Computer Based Test) exam. This stage is qualifying in nature and the marks scored in this examination will be conducted for a short listing of candidates for the 2nd stage exam as per their merits, and the marks will not be counted while preparing the final merit list. - The exam duration is 90 minutes (120 minutes for PwBD).
- There will be negative marking of 1/3 marks for each wrong answer marked.
- The final scores will be released after normalising; the normalised scores will be used for making the final merit list.

RRB JE Exam Pattern for CBT 2
The second stage of the examination is known as the RRB JE CBT 2 exam. The candidates who clear the CBT 1 examination will be called for stage 2, i.e., CBT 2. RRB JE Exam Pattern 2024: Negative Marking Scheme
The marking scheme of the written examination will contain 1 mark for each question for CBT 1 and 2 papers. For every correct answer marked, candidate will get 1 mark for each question and for every wrong answer marked, 1/3 marks will be deducted as penalty.

RRB JE Document Verification
The candidates will be called for document verification based on their marks in the 2nd stage of examination, i.e. CBT 2. The number of candidates called for the document verification will be equal to the number of vacancies.
In case two or more candidates secure equal marks, their merit position shall be determined by age criteria i.e., the older candidate shall be given higher merit than the younger candidate.
