The good attempts for SSC JE EE exam are estimated to range between 72 and 77. The overall difficulty level was moderate.

The commission will be conducting SSC JE exam in three shifts: 9 am to 11 am, 1 pm to 3 pm and 5 pm to 7 pm. The reporting time is 2 hours before the shift timings to complete the necessary formalities.

SSC has not specified any dress code for applicants. However, aspirants are advised to dress neatly and presentably when appearing for the exam. They are advised to avoid wearing full-sleeve shirts with large buttons.

In the SSC JE Shift 1, the total number of good attempts ranged between 70 to 75, with an overall moderate difficulty level.

Candidates find the General Awareness and Civil Engineering sections to be moderate, while the Reasoning section is perceived as easy to moderate. Consequently, the overall difficulty level of Shift 1 is assessed as easy to moderate.

Based on aspirants' feedback, the total number of good attempts for shift 1 can range between 140 and 152. The number of good attempts for the Civil section of the SSC JE exam can be between 70 and 75.

All candidates must carry the prinout of their SSC JE Admit Card to the exam center. Ensure that the details are clearly visible and readable. If there's any discrepancy in the hall ticket, you must contact the officials immediately. In addition to the hall ticket, they must carry their ID proofs and passport size photographs.

The commission has released the SSC JE Admit Card on its official website, ssc.gov.in. Candidates can download their hall ticket by entering their registration number and password.

The exam duration of SSC JE Paper 1 is 2 hours i.e. 120 minutes. Candidates will have to attempt all three sections in 2 hours.

As per the marking scheme, there is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every incorrect answer in SSC JE paper 1. It implies that the commission will deduct 0.25 for every incorrect answer.

The minimum passing marks are set at 30% for the UR category, 25% for OBC and EWS categories, and 20% for all other remaining categories.

For FY 2023, the commission conducted the SSC JE exam from October 9 to 11. The overall difficulty level of the exam was moderate, with the number of good attempts estimated to range between 152 and 161.

A total of 200 questions will be asked in SSC JE Paper 1: 50 questions each from Reasoning and General Awareness, and 100 questions from Civil & Structural Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.

SSC JE exam comprises three sections. The first two sections, General Intelligence & Reasoning and General Awareness, are common for all candidates. The third section contains questions on Civil & Structural Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering, and candidates must choose and attempt questions from only one of these subjects.
