TNPSC Group 1 Online Application Link 2024: The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has started the online registrations for Combined Civil Services Examination - Group I-B and I-C Services posts on its official website. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online for these posts on or before May 22, 2024. The link to apply is given below.
The commission has notified 29 vacancies out of which 21 vacancies are for Assistant Commissioner in the Tamil Nadu Hindu Religious Charitable Endowments (Administration) Service (Group I-B Service) and 9 vacancies for for the post of District Educational Officer in Tamil Nadu School Educational Service (Group I-C Service).
Selection for these posts will be done based on the prelims exam followed by the mains exam and interview. The prelims exam will be conducted across the state on July 12, 2024.
Candidates applying for Assistant Commissioner Posts must have any degree and also a degree of Bachelor of Law (3 years course) or a degree of Bachelor of Law (5 years Integrated course) from a University recognised by the University Grants Commission for its Grant. They Must be practising as an Advocate or as a Pleader in a Court of Civil or Criminal Jurisdiction for not less than three years. or Must have put in a service of not less than six years.
For District Educational Officer Posts, the candidate must have a Master’s degree from any University recognized by the University Grants Commission in the State or a degree of equivalent standard in any one of the following subjects namely Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Economics, Geography, History, Commerce, Tamil and English and should have studied Tamil under Part-I or Part-II of the Intermediate or Pre-University Course or Higher Secondary Course and 3. Bachelor of Teaching or Bachelor of Education from any recognized University in the State or a degree of equivalent standard.
