This selection result will be subject to the medical examination of the candidate conducted by the appointing authority and his/her suitability in educational qualification, reservation related certificates and character verification.

Selected candidates will be called for 9 months of training. The first one-month initial training (JTC) will be conducted in all 75 districts. After this, the remaining 8 months of advanced training will be held in other police training centers. In this training, physical fitness, weapons training and information related to law will be given.

The list of selected candidates against the advertised vacancies is being displayed on the Board's website https://uppbpb.gov.in/ based on merit of normalised marks obtained in the written examination of the candidates found successful in the said written examination, scrutiny of records and physical standard test and physical efficiency test as per the relevant provisions of the reservation policy issued from time to time by the UP Government. No waiting list has been prepared by the Board.

The written examination of UP Police Constable Recruitment 2024 was held in two phases. The first phase examination was conducted on 23, 24 and 25 August 2024, wherein around 28 lakh 91 thousand students appeared. A total of 19.26 lakh candidates appeared on 30 and 31 August under second phase.

Through this recruitment campaign, a total of 60,244 constable posts will be recruited in Uttar Pradesh Police. Out of total 24102 posts will be recruited in the unreserved category and 6024 posts in the EWS category. Apart from this, 16264 posts will be recruited in the OBC category and 12650 posts in the SC category.
