UPPSC Vacancies, Apply for 529 Posts of Lecturers, Statistical Officers, and Others

Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) Notification, Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has invited applications for direct recruitment in 529 posts in various departments in the state. The last date to apply for the same is 18 April 2017.

For the posts of Lecturer, Shiksha Vibhag an applicant must possess qualifications as per subjects Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Urdu, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, History, Civics, Psychology & Economics. L.T. Diploma from a Government or recognized training College or Bachelor's Degree in education of a University established by law in India. For all Subjects the applicant must have served in the territorial army for a minimum period of two years Or Obtained B Certificate of National Cadet Corps.

For the posts of Registrar, Department of Higher Education an applicant must possess Graduate degree or Its equivalent qualification and good knowledge of Hindi and English.

For the posts of Lecturers, Department of Higher Education an applicant must possess Good academic record as defined by the concerned University with at least 55% marks, (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master's Degree level in a relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited Foreign University. 2- Must have cleared NET by U.G.C./ C.S.I.R. in the relevant subject or SLET of Uttar Pradesh in the relevant subject or SET in the relevant subject accredited by U.G.C. 3- (i) The candidates who are, or have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or the subsequent Regulations if notified by the UGC, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET. The such candidates have to produce a certificate issued by an authorized officer of university concerned showing that their Ph.D. degree is according to minimum standard and procedure as prescribed by U.G.C. regulations, 2009.

For the posts of Scientific Officer, Forensic Science Laboratory an applicant must possess (A) S.No.1 M.Sc./M.Tech in Physics/Forensic Science/ Mathematics. S.No. 2:- M.Sc./.M.Tech. in Chemistry/Forensic Science. S.No. 3:- M.Sc./M.Tech. in Zoology/Botany/Forensic Science/Bio-Technology. S.No. 4:- B.Tech. in Computer Science or I.T. in Electronic and Communication/M.Sc. in Computer Science/ M.C.A. S.No. 5:- B.Tech. in Computer Science or I.T. in Electronic & Communication/M.Sc. in Computer Science/M.C.A. S.No. 6:- Post Graduate degree in Psychology/Forensic Psychology or M.D. in Psychiatry. S.No. 7:- Post Graduate degree in Psychology/ Forensic Psychology or M.D. in Psychiatry. S.No. 8:- Post Graduate degree in Psychology/Forensic Psychology or M.D. in Psychiatry. (B) (1) Except for Lie Detection Section- At least three years research experience in the relevant subjects. OR At least three years analytical experience in a recognised Laboratory or Institute. (2) For Lie Detection Section - At least three years research experience in Psychophysiology/Physiological or Criminal Psychology. OR At least three years practical experience in a recognised Laboratory or Institute. Preferential :- (1) Ph.D in relevant subject. (2) (i) Except for Lie Detection Section experience of working in a Forensic Science Laboratory. (ii) For Lie Detection Section-experience of using Polygraph (Lie Detector) for Interrogation. 3- A candidate who has: (i) Served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of two years. OR (ii) obtained a ‘B’ certificate of National Cadet Corps. Shall, other things being equal, be given preference in the matter of direct recruitment.

Selections will be made based on a Written Test followed by an interview, as per the requirements of the posts established by the commission.
