Chhattisgarh state government will be setting up Oxygen Generation Plants in all medical colleges and 17 district hospitals of the state to ensure the availability and timely supply of medical oxygen to COVID hospitals.

The US State Department has approved the sale of weapons systems worth around USD 1.8 billion to Taiwan. The deal will comprise three weapons systems, rocket launchers, sensors and artillery.

The United Arab Emirates has become the first Arab nation to reach a visa-exemption agreement with Israel. The citizens of UAE will now be able to stay in Israel for up to 90 days on a single visit.

The Tamil Nadu State government has decided to implement the smart blackboard scheme in more than 80,000 Government schools to ensure a better teaching environment. The scheme aims to use audiovisual teaching material that can be integrated along with digital classrooms.
