Haryana government had signed a Memorandum of Understanding with four independent power producers for setting five bio-mass power projects.

The capacity of power projects is of 51 MW and required an investment of 230 crore. Out of four, two projects is going to commissioned soon.

Haryana is among the leading states in implementing energy conservation programmes.

The memorandum was basically signed to tackle with the prevailing power crisis in the state.
