Somdev Devvarman of India was defeated out of the ATP Dubai Tennis Championship 2013. In pre-quarterfinal match, in the Men’s Singles, Somdev Devvarman lost to Juan Martin Del Potro of Argentina 4-6, 4-6.
After losing out of the tournament, Somdev managed to grab 20 ranking points along with euro 9130 as prize money. It is important to note that India still has its chances in the ATP Dubai Tennis Championships 2013 in terms of Doubles, where Rohan Bopanna along with his British partner Colin Fleming reached quarter-finals.
They defeated Robin Haase and Dick Norman 6-4 6-2 in the opening round.
